Who is the new face of Gucci?
Blake Lively, the actress/fashion icon will be the new face of Gucci's upcoming fragrance "Première" eau de parfum. "Première" will premiere in autumn 2012 worldwide, and it is a scent inspired by the brand's red-carpet couture gowns line of the same name. Frida Giannini, the house's creative director, said she chose Blake, "because she is a girl of extraordinary beauty and a girl who loves fashion". Blake Lively told WWD that "Gucci is a staple. It is a brand I have always looked up to
because to me it represents strength. In their designs, in their images, in what they
stand for philanthropically, and especially in their fragrance… I
couldn't be more proud to be working with Gucci and its heart,
Frida.".
